Nail Care
I already have acrylics on from another salon: Unfortunately Nail Candy cannot work over the top of another salons extensions. We need to be able to check the condition of your natural nails. Therefore if you require a soak off you can add this treatment to your online booking.
Rebalance/fill: Nail Candy recommend a rebalance every two-three weeks, some peoples nails can go longer although may require a soak off and fresh set if left too long.
Problem nails: Some people benefit from a particular shape or length. Your career or lifestyle can have an impact on your nails. If you are having problems with your nails Nail Candy will work hard to find the perfect solution for you. Please call or send Nail Candy a message with any concerns.
My nails have lifted should I use nail glue to stick them down? We advise never to use nail glue to keep your acrylics on. Regular rebalances should prevent excessive lifting. Using glue can trap germs under your nails and cause infections or trap water. This can mean you will require a soak off at your next appointment. And on occasion can cause damage which means further acrylic application isn’t possible.
